Broccoli and Brie quiche + Roasted duck salad with orange dressing

The first of many yummy lunch collaborations!

Arthur was inspired by this recipe from http://foodcomablog.com/2010/11/broccli-and-cheese-quiche/. He didn’t add the oil and boiled the broccoli instead of saute-ing it. The result was super broccolicious! Big thanks to our fellow villager Dorine who gifted us with the precious Brie.

Quiche

I also made a roasted duck salad which included greens plucked straight from our garden! I initially thought they were weeds but the local villagers told us that they were edible. Mostly used in soups but also liang ban style, which is the local version of salads often with soy and spice. I still don’t know how come they are growing in my garden though, I sure didn’t plant it. Anyway, it’s been a few days since we had the salad and I’m happy to report that both Arthur and I are alive and well 🙂Salad

Ingredients:

A bunch of greens (whatever you like)

1 tomato, diced

A cup of shredded roasted duck meat (store bought)

Dressing:

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Juice of 1 orange

Cracked pepper
